RESTORED:CX500 Hardware Failure

Service Restored

Between 2:43 p.m. and 3:38 p.m. on October 8, 2009, the CX500 platform of Austin disk service was unavailable. During this time, users experienced an outage. The service has been restored and is functioning normally.

 


On 10/08/2009 at 2:43pm The CX500, storage platform for Austin SQL Services and some of the ESX VMs, has failed during an non-disruptive hardware replacement.  Dell technicians are on site and working to repair the system.
