Service Restored

This service has been restored and is functioning normally.


The Remedy service experienced an unscheduled outage on 10/29/2009 from approximately 17:15 to 17:25. The help desk reported the problem at 17:19 and the machine was restarted shortly after.
The email engine continued to experience problems until 22:10, at which time a restart of the email service worked to restart mail delivery. No mail was lost, but 2,974 queued messages were sent when the email service was restarted and delivery resumed. This problem has been reported to the service manager and is being investigated.
