RESTORED: Austin Sharepoint Services not available
As of 9:40am our MSSQL cluster was brought back online. As of 9:50am all associated services run by Systems are back online.
Starting at 6:30 a.m. on Monday November 2, 2009, ITS has received reports that the Austin SharePoint Service is unavailable. Users may be unable to access the Web site. This problem has been reported to the service manager and is being investigated.
The Microsoft SQL cluster, SQL02, appears to have just failed over unexpectedly. This has also caused vCenter for ITS Virtual Servers and vDesk to experience a brief outage. vCenter for vDesk is back online, vCenter for Virtual Servers should be available momentarily. The SQL02 outage is also affecting SharePoint, Remedy, Adobe Connect, vDesk, Austin Blackberry services, and Cold Fusion services.
We are still investigating the SharePoint outage (related to SQL outage) and the SQL outage.
