More Webspace problems
During the earlier issues associated with the WebSpace web servers, the Oracle database continued to function normally. At 1:05 PM external connections to the database started being refused based on an inappropriate and mismatched protocol stack error. After stopping one of the web servers that was causing all of the errors, several other troubleshooting measures were taken. At 1:57 the external connections began connecting correctly and the service handler errors went away.At this time 2:44pm all connections are occurring normally.
On 11/05/2009 at 1:41 The Oracle database server that underlies WebSpace is having as yet undiagnosed problems, which seem to relate to the inability of the third WebSpace server to come up (as mentioned earlier). This may cause instability or unavailability of WebSpace. This problem has been reported to the service manager and is being investigated.
