RESOLVED: Blackboard log in issues

The problem is resolved.

Corrective action is still in progress, but should complete within 15 minutes.

The root cause of the problem has been identified and is being corrected.

The Blackboard issues appear to be limited to some extension students and students with courseware (CWU) entitlements. Investigation continues.

Systems staff are investigating. At this time, we’re unable to reproduce the problem.

We are getting numerous contacts (via email, chat and phones) about logging into blackboard being down. It appears to be a common issue with courseware entitled users, extension users and guest users.
