RESOLVED:utexas.edu web sites not available

Source of load has been identified and remediated. Server has been
stabilized.  Systems staff will continue to analyze the event to improve
processes and monitoring.

The sites are now responding, although very slowly in some cases. 

The sites are experiencing heavy traffic. Systems staff continue to investigate.

We have had a few contacts that websites on the utexas.edu domain are not available including registrar.utexas.edu. Web team has been notified.
