RESOLVED: External Access to WebSpace
Service Restored

Services has been restored


Access to WebSpace continues to be restricted to campus-only networks.
This restriction has been placed on WebSpace while ITS and ISO staff
confirm that the proper security controls for external access are in
place. Based on our most recent discussions with our vendor, the ETA for
lifting this restriction is by 12/20.

UT Austin Students, Faculty, and Staff may continue to access WebSpace
from off-campus via the UT VPN Service. If you would like assistance with
using the VPN service, please contact the ITS Help Desk
(https://www.utexas.edu/its/helpdesk/).

Beginning at 10:35 PM on 12/5/2012, access to WebSpace has been restricted to campus-only networks. This restriction has been placed on WebSpace while ITS and ISO staff confirm that the proper security controls for external access are in place. As soon as an ETA for lifting this restriction has been determined, we will send out an update.
