As part of the Web Central Services Retirement project, the ITS website will be retired. Information about IT services will be replaced by two new sites, IT@UT and UT ServiceNow, and ITS departmental information will be migrated to a new location. All changes will be completed by 7/28/2016.

RESOLVED: BACS Badge Import Issues
Service Restored

The badge import problem has been completely resolved as of 11:58 today.

The badge import problems were resolved yesterday with the assistance from the vendor.  We have continued to monitor closely for any problems and have not seen any in the last 24 hours.  This issue is now resolved.  A reminder - this problem in no way affected the building security system functionality.

The problem has not been resolved, however vendors have been contacted for support assistance.  Badge numbers from the ID center are being manually entered into the security system software up to 24 hours from when the ID badges have been issued from the ID Center.  We do not expect to have resolution until early next week.  The next Alerts update will be Monday afternoon unless the problem is resolved sooner.  ITS Security Operations will be notifying BACS administrators of the problem and the work-around.

There is no problem with the functionality of the BACS system.
