As part of the Web Central Services Retirement project, the ITS website will be retired. Information about IT services will be replaced by two new sites, IT@UT and UT ServiceNow, and ITS departmental information will be migrated to a new location. All changes will be completed by 7/19/2016.

RESOLVED:Footprints database issue
Service Restored

The full text indexes for all workspaces have been rebuilt, and the service appears to be responding normally.

The full text indexes for all Footprints workspaces are being recreated, and the tables are being re-indexed, now.
The process takes a while for the larger workspaces, but should complete within the hour.

Full text indexes and ‘keyword’ searches are still an issue, but it appears so far that this is the only issue affecting the service. Ticket escalations, reporting, and saved searches that use the ‘keyword’ field will likewise fail with a 203 database error.  Systems staff continues to investigate, and is working to resolve the issue.

The full text indexes on the ticket tables for all workspaces has become corrupted. Systems staff is engaging vendor support to discuss options for rebuilding these indexes.

Ticket creation and edit are unaffected, but keyword searches will fail with a 203 database error until this is resolved.

Several people have noticed 203 errors performing standard Footprints functions—some come from email bounces, some when performing keyword searches of their workspaces.

Systems staff are investigating, but has confirmed that these issues are occurring.
