As part of the Web Central Services Retirement project, the ITS website will be retired. Information about IT services will be replaced by two new sites, IT@UT and UT ServiceNow, and ITS departmental information will be migrated to a new location. All changes will be completed by 7/28/2016.

Service Restored

AEMS is operating normally

All appears to be operating normally at present. Following the failover, we found that some mailboxes were marked for quarantine, thus locking users out of those mailboxes, but we have squared that away.  The potential underlying hardware issue will be taken up with vendor support on Monday. Meanwhile, we have enough hardware redundancy to continue on with normal operations.

A RAID controller problem has triggered a failover of mailbox databases hosted on one of the AEMS mailbox servers, resulting in users who were connecting to that server being temporarily disconnected. The underlying problem is under investigation.
