RESOLVED: Emergency F5 Failover Testing on 2/28
Service Restored

Testing was completed successfully.  Production services failed over correctly.  The configuration issue has been confirmed resolved.

On Thursday 2/28 between 10:00 am and 11:30 am, ITS will be conducting a test of device failover on the F5 load balancers.  This test is to confirm that we have resolved a configuration issue which prevented some services, including, from correctly migrating to the new load balancer during a failover.

Most load balanced service will either not be impacted, or experience only a momentary disruption.  ITS staff will be monitoring at-risk services to ensure minimal disruption.
