RESOLVED: Canvas operating normally for all users (Some users sporadically receiving page errors)
Service Restored

Starting at about 10:15 PM MT this evening (Friday 03/08), some of your users sporadically encountered error messages when trying to access pages in Canvas. In most cases, users who reloaded or tried again to access the page where they received the error were successful. We’re sorry for the inconvenience.

Our engineering team [Canvas] has addressed the source of the problem and Canvas is again operating normally for all users. We will provide a full incident report when we’ve finished reviewing this issue—likely on Monday.

In most cases, users who reload or try again to access the page where they received the error are successful. We’re sorry for the inconvenience.

Our engineers [Canvas] are actively working to resolve this problem right now. We’re seeing fewer errors now than at first. We’ll provide an update within an hour. In the meanwhile, we will be reviewing and responding to tickets from users at your institutions.
