As part of the Web Central Services Retirement project, the ITS website will be retired. Information about IT services will be replaced by two new sites, IT@UT and UT ServiceNow, and ITS departmental information will be migrated to a new location. All changes will be completed by 7/19/2016.

RESOLVED:Possible Campus Network Problems
Service Restored

The service impact was that all remote (off-campus) sites connected via
Opt-e-man lost connectivity. Services were restored to those sites by
about 11:14:45am.
In addition, a very limited number of wireless access points across
campus may have been unavailable for several seconds due to a wireless
controller going offline.


At 11:10:37am, the UPS unit servicing NOC A failed.
The service impact was that all remote (off-campus) sites connected via
Opt-e-man lost connectivity. Services were restored to those sites by
about 11:14:45am.
In addition, a very limited number of wireless access points across
campus may have been unavailable for several seconds due to a wireless
controller going offline.


This site was affected by the power failure in NOC A this morning. The
site should have gone down at ~11:10am and been back up by ~11:15am. If
users are still experiencing problems, please have their TSC call
471-NETS (471-6387).
