As part of the Web Central Services Retirement project, the ITS website will be retired. Information about IT services will be replaced by two new sites, IT@UT and UT ServiceNow, and ITS departmental information will be migrated to a new location. All changes will be completed by 7/19/2016.

ITS Services Status

RESOLVED: Central ITS Oracle RAC database impacted
Service Restored

All impacted database schemas have been migrated to unaffected nodes in the Central ITS Oracle RAC cluster.
We will continue to monitor the situation, but believe all services have been restored.

Systems staff has isolated and terminated the offending query.  Database rollbacks are in process of reclaiming the memory/space used during query execution, and may continue to impact queries. 

Systems staff is migrating impacted database schemas to unaffected nodes in the cluster.

Next update will occur ~12:45.

Many users are reporting problems connecting to or querying the Central ITS Oracle RAC database.

Systems staff have been investigating a CPU-intensive query and are in the process of isolating the issue
