RESOLVED: UTmail: Account Management Tools Experiencing Issues
This appears to be an isolated incident involving a small subset of users. Testing has concluded that the tools are functioning normally for the majority of users.
The Help Desk has been notified of the users affected and Systems is requesting support from the vendor.
This issue is resolved outside of these users. Please continue to contact the ITS Help Desk if you are experiencing issues with UTmail.
The Help Desk is getting reports of users getting errors when attempting to change their UTmail password. The most common error is “Oops, is not found in Google Apps. Please contact the ITS helpdesk.” This error, or others, may also appear when changing your Display Name or renaming your UTmail account via these tools.
Users that cannot access their UTmail accounts can call the ITS Help Desk, who can manually reset their passwords after identity verification.
The Systems team is aware of the issue and is investigating.
