We have still received no reports of this issue impacting our tenant. The health portal now shows the following:
Microsoft Exchange Engineers are in the process of deploying a script to the environment to resolve access issues. Affected users may experience the inability to access their Exchange Online mailbox. During the deployment, engineers will continue to monitor service health. The next update will be provided by Tuesday July 16, 2013 at 6:00 PM UTC or upon service restoration.
Microsoft has posted the following service alert:
Microsoft Engineers are currently investigating a service alert. Some users served from the Americas region may be unable to access Exchange Online through Outlook, Exchange Web Services as well as Exchange Active Sync. Outlook Web Access should not be impacted.
We have seen no indication that this issue is impacting our users, but ITS Systems will monitor as this unfolds.
