As part of the Web Central Services Retirement project, the ITS website will be retired. Information about IT services will be replaced by two new sites, IT@UT and UT ServiceNow, and ITS departmental information will be migrated to a new location. All changes will be completed by 7/19/2016.

RESOLVED:  UT Direct & Broker Issues
Service Restored

12:43 PM-Service should be restored

Broker calls to the mainframe were timing out, which in turn overwhelmed the tomcat threads on utdirect

We’re investigating the root cause


12:40 PM-UT Systems still having problems with broker,restarting the broker process now.


12:37 PM-Reports from developers saying UT Direct is down started coming in around 12:24.


12:36 PM-Staff at ITS Help Desk are unable to reach UT Direct or authenticate to services requiring a UT Direct login.


12:30 PM-Utdirect servers were overloaded, service is restored as of now.


12:16 PM-Today at 12:10 the ITS Help Desk was experiencing a very slow and unresponsive use with UTDirect.  With continuous tries, we get a “Service is currently unavailable” message.
