RESOLVED: Email to Office 365 rejected between 5:10 and 5:25 PM
Service Restored

ITS Systems staff are currently working with Microsoft to adjust the mail flow between our on-premise Exchange and Office 365. During this work, Microsoft’s servers incorrectly started rejecting all traffic coming from our on-premise servers. This resulted in all mail destined for Office 365 between approximately 5:10 and 5:25 PM to be returned to sender as undeliverable. ITS Systems staff backed out the changes as soon as this problem was recognized, and are now working with Microsoft to determine why Microsoft’s server rejected our mail. Anyone whose mail was rejected during this time can re-send it and expect it to be delivered now.
