As part of the Web Central Services Retirement project, the ITS website will be retired. Information about IT services will be replaced by two new sites, IT@UT and UT ServiceNow, and ITS departmental information will be migrated to a new location. All changes will be completed by 7/28/2016.

ITS Services Status

RESOLVED: Emergency MySQL (non-CAT1) outage ~7:30-7:45
Service Restored

The root cause of the MySQL non-CAT1 service disruption has been identified as an external client flooding the server with requests for a course catalog.

The issue was resolved by ITS Systems Web Central administrators.

At approximately ~7:30AM ITS Systems were alerted to reports of websites not responding that indicate service failure of the MySQL (non-CAT1) service.

ITS Systems staff logged in and investigating the problem by 7:40; the issue resolved without intervention by staff at approximately 7:45.

ITS Systems staff will continue to investigate and monitor the service.
