As part of the Web Central Services Retirement project, the ITS website will be retired. Information about IT services will be replaced by two new sites, IT@UT and UT ServiceNow, and ITS departmental information will be migrated to a new location. All changes will be completed by 7/28/2016.

RESOLVED: Central ITS Oracle RAC
Service Restored

“We continue to closely monitor our OAAS RAC along with our other Oracle servers for any further issues, but at this time we believe this issue is resolved.”

Oracle has supplied us with a special diagnostic patch intended to correct possible issues with the patch previously supplied to fix this issue.

We have applied this second patch and continue to monitor our central ITS Oracle RAC servers for any further issues.

At this time all services are operating normally.

We will send out a resolution status update tomorrow.

We have identified an excessive connection issue and are in process of clearing them out now.

Production RAC services should now be resumed.

ITS Systems received an alert of high utilization on one of the three nodes in the ITS Central RAC environment, and reports of application unavailability from customers.

ITS Systems database administrators are investigating.
