ITS Services Status
ITS Systems staff have taken additional resource management steps to address the slowdowns reported after the issue was believed to be resolved. At this point, internal monitoring tools and a check with the Help Desk indicate service returned to normal at approximately 2:45 p.m.
Today, Tuesday November 5, 2013, users called into the Help Desk in response to the updated post at 1:30pm saying that Blackboard service was restored. However, just under 10 minutes later, intermittent connection issues came back regarding Blackboard access. Consultants are having issues logging on and works for some. Students and faculty are experiencing the same issue. There are slow load times or service unavailable errors as before still.
ITS Systems staff have identified and addressed an operational issue that was affecting Blackboard response time. Service was back to normal by approximately 12:55 pm.
ITS Systems staff are investigating.
Today, Tuesday November 5, 2013, users at the Help Desk received reports of intermittent connection issues with Blackboard. This was observable by users here at the help desk at around noon. Faculty and Students across campus may be affected with either slow load times or service unavailable errors.
