RESOLVED: Blackboard Errors
Tests indicate that blackboard is operating normally, and that both Media Site and Grade Center access are responding as expected. This issue has been resolved.
Systems staff are looking into the issue.
There are no immediate indications of any access issues on-going.
There is very little concrete information regarding the errors. The issues have not yet been duplicated by systems staff.
Issues continue regarding faculty who are not able to access their Grade Centers. Users who are on Google Chrome seem to be unaffected. Users on other browsers can sometimes alleviate the error messages by clearing the cache and cookies from their browser.
ITS Systems staff and ITS Help Desk have resolved and verified Blackboard service is functional
As of approx. 3pm on Sat. 11/16, users attempting to log on to Blackboard are seeing various error messages. If they are able to log on, a course page will show only a blank page with the message “ERR”. These errors are prohibiting access to any Blackboard material.
ITS Systems Database staff are looking into the problem.
