All application nodes are verified as accepting login connections again.
The ‘fix’ did not propagate to all application nodes.
This will be remedied soon.
Users are still reporting login issues with Blackboard as of 1:05 PM. The same error message as previously reported is seen by users, although not all users are affected. However, service has been restored for some users.
The login issue has been resolved. Systems staff are investigating for root cause.

Around 12:20 PM today November 21, reports came in regarding users being unable to log in to Blackboard. All users are receiving the error “Could not login. Valid authentication credentials were not provided.” Until this is resolved, no users will be able to log in to Blackboard.
