As part of the Web Central Services Retirement project, the ITS website will be retired. Information about IT services will be replaced by two new sites, IT@UT and UT ServiceNow, and ITS departmental information will be migrated to a new location. All changes will be completed by 7/28/2016.

RESOLVED: Wireless Network Experiencing Issues
Service Restored

Service restored.  Further maintenance to be scheduled at later time.

Users are still experiencing difficulties connecting to the wireless restricted network as of 9:16 pm. Some users are also reporting difficulties connecting through Ethernet ports in the dormitory Jester East.
Maintenance is ongoing.

There will be a 5 minute controlled outage of wireless DHCP at 21:00. One third of clients might see impact.

DHCP restored at 19:31.  Reason for the failure under investigation.

Networking is investigating a wireless issue related to DHCP on the wireless networks.

At approximately 7:15 pm today the wireless restricted network in several building including McCombs, Flawn Academic Center, and Jester dormitories have been experiencing wireless connectivity issues to the restricted network. Customers attempting to access the Restricted network in these buildings and possibly more will likely be affected by this issue.
