As part of the Web Central Services Retirement project, the ITS website will be retired. Information about IT services will be replaced by two new sites, IT@UT and UT ServiceNow, and ITS departmental information will be migrated to a new location. All changes will be completed by 7/19/2016.

RESOLVED: Office 365 Message Delivery Delays

Microsoft reports that the issue was fully resolved as of 6:35 PM, and ITS Systems staff have confirmed that all queued mail has completed delivery.

Microsoft reports that a solution is in place that should resolve the underlying issue causing delivery delays.  ITS Systems staff continue to observe the message queues drain, which may take several hours to complete fully.  Next update at 7pm.

Microsoft engineers have shifted email traffic to a healthy portion of their infrastructure to mitigate impact.  ITS Systems staff have confirmed that message delivery queues appear to be draining, albeit slowly.  Next update at 5pm.

ITS Systems staff continue to work with Microsoft and are monitoring the health status of mail delivery.  Microsoft will provide their next update at 3pm, after which this status will be updated as well.

Microsoft has reported that users of Exchange Online may be experiencing delays in sending or receiving email messages.  ITS Systems staff have determined that our Office 365 tenant is also affected, and have engaged with Microsoft for additional support.  Next update at 12pm.
