Current Service Interruptions
- BEGIN: Emergency Maintenance
Beginning at 5:45 pm, we will begin emergency maintenance on the following services: Blogs, ITS Contracts, Wikis, WorldSpace.
A brief downtime will occur for each service.
- Emergency Maintenance on Bulk Mail and Urgent E-mail
Emergency maintenance will be performed on Bulk Mail and Urgent E-mail Systems beginning immediately. A brief downtime will occur.
- Emergency TED Maintenance
Maintenance will take place on the uTexas Enterprise Directory. LDAP searches and authentication will remain available, but updates will be interrupted for a brief window during the maintenance. This may delay some password resets for UT-EID accounts.

- RESOLVED: UT Web Emergency Maintenance
Maintenance has concluded.
UT Web will be performing emergency disruptive maintenance beginning immediately.
* Access to UT Web Panel administrative services will be briefly interrupted.
* End user content delivery will not be impacted.
- Footprints: Emergency Maintenance
Emergency maintenance will be performed on the FootPrints system tonight.
The service will be down for the duration of the maintenance.

- RESOLVED: Intermittent Toopher two-factor authentication issues & Slowdowns

All issues have been addressed and the two-factor authentication system is operating normally at this time.

The vendor has implemented a fix to address the SMS issue and is investigating the other reported issues.

At approximately 10:15 AM the two-factor authentication protecting all Payroll and W-2 information has sporadically been unable to pair customers using SMS or the Toopher application.
This means that some customers are not able to pair for the first time using SMS or the mobile Toopher application nor are some customers able to authenticate despite already being paired.
At this time we do not know of anyone having trouble authenticating or pairing using the OTPs.
The two-factor system is functioning in a degraded state but ITS is aware and working to resolve the issue.

The Toopher two-factor authentication system is experiencing intermittent issues affecting customers that use the SMS texting option. Vendor support has been engaged.
- RESOLVED: COM4 slowdown

The issue causing the slowdown has been addressed and COM4 is back to normal.

The Develop instance of COM-PLETE is experiencing slowdowns, primarily in the Test and Qual environments. Systems staff are investigating.
- RESOLVED: Small number of emails from mainframe delayed
The 67 delayed emails were sent out at 10:23 am today.
Please consider this issue closed.
One (suspected junk) mail in particular caused a delay for about 60 messages, but this particular mail process is an offline/batch process with no strict delivery timeline. The ~60 delayed messages will be sent by 11:00 AM today.
No real-time emails were affected and batch processing emails are going out normally at this time.
A small number of emails sent out from the UT mainframe via a “batch” email program (EMN$MAIL) are delayed.
ITS Systems staff are investigating.
- RESOLVED: CATV Outage
This problem was resolved at about 1125 yesterday morning.
We are experiencing an outage on the CATV system. We are working to restore service.
