- RESOLVED: Office 365 Connectivity Issue
ITS Systems staff have not received any reports of ongoing connectivity issues to Exchange Online since Wednesday, and are satisfied that the factors that produced the problem have been resolved.

Microsoft engineers have completed corrective actions to their network infrastructure, and service connectivity appears to have been restored for all users. ITS Systems staff will continue to closely monitor the situation until we are satisfied that the issue is fully resolved.
Microsoft engineers have determined a preliminary root cause – “a high-level portion of the network infrastructure became degraded, which is causing an interruption to Exchange Online connectivity” – and have redirected network traffic to alternate capacity in an attempt to restore service. ITS Systems staff are continuing to coordinate support and monitor progress. The next update will be posted no later than 11:00 PM.

ITS Systems staff have received reports of users unable to access Exchange Online mailboxes via MAPI,EAS,EWS, or the Outlook Web App. Staff are engaging with Microsoft to investigate the issue further and formulate a resolution.
