- RESOLVED: Office of Telecommunication Services (OTS) Monitoring Tool is Unavailable
The OTS monitoring tool is now available.
The OTS Monitoring tool is currently unavailable. Campus may be impacted. OTS staff is currently investigating.
- RESOLVED: Expedited, non-disruptive maintenance on the Mail Filtering Service extended to 3:00 PM
Maintenance is successfully concluded.
The non-disruptive maintenance on the Mail Filtering Service is being extended to 3:00 PM. No problems have been encountered, the work is simply more tedious than anticipated.
- Power Outage at COM
UT Power Plant has informed us that at approximately 9:45, there was a short in a piece of the electrical gear that powers COM, Main, and some other buildings. There was a momentary outage that occurred until systems switched to the back up loop. They are making plans to repair when storms depart the area. We will continue to monitor.
At approximately 9:41 AM power was momentary lost at the COM building, which possibly affected systems housed within the facility. Power was restored a short time after the outage. The UDC-Facilities team is currently investigating the issue.
- RESOLVED:Restart of TID print server its-tidprint02
TID print server its-tidprint02 is back online. Service was restored at 11:48 AM. Issue is resolved
A TID print server, its-tidprint02.austin.utexas.edu, has a print application that is in a degraded state. Mainframe print jobs are being processed normally at this time. The print server will be rebooted immediately to remedy the print application state. No mainframe print jobs will be lost. They will be queued and delivered on the print server has completed its reboot and the print application has been verified online.
Action has been coordinated with the ITS Help Desk.

https://utexas.instructure.com appears to be behaving normally now
https://utexas.instructure.com is performing very slowly at the current time.
Instructure is aware of the issue, and working to address it.
