ITS CAST Award provides the opportunity for ITS employees to call attention to their exceptional fellow employees by nominating them for the award. It recognizes an ITS individual or group contribution to our organization and to the university at large. The award is the highest recognition ITS employees can receive in the department because it comes from our fellow employees. Whether they are behind the scenes or our frontline staff, the ITS CAST Award recognizes commitment, attitude, service and teamwork, as demonstrated by how the employee:
- Demonstrates consistently high work performance;
- Promotes positive morale by displaying a congenial, supportive attitude and serves as a role model to others;
- Puts forth an effort to improve self as well as to develop and recognize others;
- Exhibits initiative and creativity through innovation resulting in improved ITS or university services;
- Enhances the image of ITS and/or the university.
Currently, the award is presented twice a year to up to four employees or groups at a time.
