BlackBerry Enterprise Service
The University of Texas at Austin operates a BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) that provides a secure, private Internet connection to users of BlackBerry devices on campus. You must have a BES-compatible wireless data plan to use this service.
Below is a list of popular wireless service providers and the methods you can use to acquire a BES-compatible wireless data plan.
AT&T
AT&T offers several BlackBerry plans, including three BlackBerry Enterprise (BES) plans.
If you are purchasing your account in person, specify that you want the Enterprise plan. If you are purchasing your account online, select an Enterprise plan when you are prompted to choose a plan.
T-Mobile
Be sure to choose one of the two available BlackBerry Enterprise Server plans.

Verizon
Verizon's Blackberry Solution Unlimited Data Usage package is a BES-compatible addition to your wireless service plan.
If you are purchasing your account in person, specify that you want the Blackberry Solution Unlimited Data Usage package. If you are purchasing your account online, select the Blackberry Solution Unlimited Data Usage package when you are prompted to add features to your plan.
Sprint/Nextel
Contact Sprint at 877-619-5037 and ask about the BlackBerry Enterprise Server plan.
