Overview
The University Blog Service is available for use by faculty and staff. The service uses Wordpress MU, a multi-user version of the popular Wordpress platform. Blogs are available for individuals, groups, projects, or departments.
This service does not meet the FERPA requirements for hosting Category I data and should not be used for course-related purposes.
Create a Blog
Faculty and staff can automatically create a blog by logging into blogs.utexas.edu using their UT EID login information. Faculty should note that this service does not meet the FERPA requirements for hosting Category I data and should not be used for course-related purposes. Departments, groups, teams, and workgroups can submit a request to have a blog created for them.
