Activating Existing Outlets
If your department has existing network outlets that are not active (e.g., you cannot connect to the network from a particular outlet), your department Technical Service Coordinator (TSC) is responsible for activating network outlets. Please check with your TSC before contacting ITS. If your department does not have a TSC, you can e-mail networking@its.utexas.edu with your request. Please include the port number (each outlet should be labeled; if any are not, send e-mail telecom@its.utexas.edu).
ITS support staff also can troubleshoot network outlets which you believe should be active but are not. Please e-mail networking@its.utexas.edu with any questions.
