Java Runtime
For information about how Daylight Saving Time changes affect the Java Runtime Environment, refer to the Sun Developer Network article Timezones, Daylight Savings, and the Sun TZupdater for the Java Runtime Environment (JRE).

The DST issue will affect Oracle Server Enterprise Edition versions 8.1 THROUGH 10.2. You may need to apply a database patch and a JVM. After these have been applied, you should run the utltzuv2.sql script (provided by Oracle) to see if any code in your database needs to be modified.
