Green Output

Setting up to Receive Green Output (WebSpace)

To receive Green Output in WebSpace, you must set up your WebSpace directory appropriately. You can then request that all your output goes to WebSpace by asking your departmental DPUSER contact to change your UserID profile.

  1. Go to WebSpace and log on using your UT EID and password.
  2. Click the New Directory icon.
  3. Enter "eReports" in the Directory Name field and click OK. The eReports directory is added to your directory list.

    NOTE: The exact name eReports is case sensitive, so be sure to enter it correctly.

  4. In the directory list, click the Share icon for the eReports folder, which displays the list of permissions for the eReports directory.
  5. Click the Add User/Group icon to allow the Green Output process permission to access the directory.
  6. In the Begins with field, enter "Green Output" and click OK. The screen returns to the Permissions page.
  7. Select the Read and Write options and click Apply Now.
  8. Permissions for your eReports directory should appear.
    NOTE: It is extremely important to ensure that you do not give the public read or write access to this directory.
  9. Contact your mainframe report analyst/developer to have them set your report to use the Green Output option.
