Importing Contact Information (Windows)

  • Operating System: Microsoft Windows

  • Application: Microsoft Outlook 2004

You can import your contacts list to use as a personal address book in Outlook.

  1. From the Tools menu, select Email Accounts.

  2. Select the Add a new directory or address book option, and then click Next.

  3. Select Additional Address Books, then click Next.

  4. Select the type of address book you want to import, then click Next.

  5. Enter the details for the address book to import, then click Next.

  6. Restart Outlook.

  7. From the File menu, select Folder and then Properties for your folder name.

  8. Select the Outlook Address Book tab, then select the Show this folder as an email address book option, enter a descriptive name, then click OK.
