Reserving Rooms and Resources

To set up a departmental resource, the designated departmental contact must contact the ITS Help Desk.

By setting up an email account for a resource such as a conference room, vehicle, projector, etc., departments can reserve and track these resources. This can increase the efficiency of office operations and help avoid resource conflicts.

Setting up a Resource

The designated departmental contact should contact the ITS Help Desk and provide the following information:

  • Name of the requested resource (must begin with the building abbreviation and room number, i.e. FAC 228).

  • Name of the department requesting the resource.

  • A prefix that describes the resource for your users.

Reserving a Resource

Once the resource is set up, AEMS users can reserve a resource directly by adding it to the required attendees list.

ITS recommends against creating recurring meetings with no end date. Instead, select an end date for recurring meetings at the end of the semester or year.

To see how any individual can check availability and make reservations for ITS Conference rooms online, please visit the Technology Rooms page.
