Sharing Folders

You can share Austin Exchange Messaging Service (AEMS) information, such as email folders and calendar entries, with other AEMS users. If you need someone to send emails, meeting requests, and meeting acceptances for you, you must make that person a delegate.

Outlook

Complete the following steps in Outlook to share folders with other AEMS users.

  1. Open Outlook.

  2. Select the folder you want to share, such as Inbox or Calendar.

  3. Right-click the folder and select Change Sharing Permissions.

  4. Click the Add button and select the person you want to share the folder with.

  5. Click the OK button.

  6. Modify the permissions as necessary and click OK.

Entourage

Complete the following steps in Entourage to share folders with other AEMS users.

  1. Click the Mail button.

  2. Select Folder Properties from the Edit menu and then click the Permissions tab.

  3. Select the user you want to share information with and click OK.

  4. In the Permissions list, click the user's name and then click the access level you want for them on the Permission Level pop-up menu.
