Providing Audio-Visual Equipment and Operator Support for Special Events

Information Technology Services (ITS) provides audio-visual equipment and operator support for university-related special events including, but not limited to, conferences, panel discussions, seminars, convocations, presentations, commencements, talent shows, press conferences, football events, and speeches. ITS also supports technical coordinators in individual schools and departments.

Services Available

Services provided include Public Address (PA) systems (sound reinforcement), audio recording onto open reel or cassette, pool audio feeds for the press, audio feeds for others to retransmit or to record, and RTS intercom systems. ITS can accommodate multiple microphones or other audio sources. In some venues, ITS also provides video, overhead or slide projectors, and screens.

Event support is available for large or small groups and for indoor or outdoor activities. When event requirements exceed ITS capabilities, we can assist in choosing or supervising the appropriate off-campus contractors.
