Reporting Poor Cellular Service on Campus

For campus customers who experience less than optimal in-building and/or outdoor coverage and would like to pursue a solution, use the Cellular Service Report Form.

In your message, please include:

  • Where you experienced poor coverage

  • What cellular provider you use

  • The time of day you experienced the problem

Once your message is received, ITS will report the problem to Crown Castle and the affected carriers who will decide how best to remedy the coverage problem. This may result in the addition of an antenna to the DAS network or carriers may be able to remedy the issue by retuning existing antennas and off-site microcells. If a solution is decided on and funding is provided, planning, construction, and implementing the solution can take up to 5 to 6 months.
