Is imaging of SecureDoc installed operating systems supported?
While imaging of SecureDoc installed devices is technically possible, it will cause a client management issue due to replication of the SecureDoc unique identifier that is created on client installation. When more than one unique id (resulting from imaged devices) is on the network at the same time, the SecureDoc Enterprise Server will only be able to communicate with one of the imaged clients (the one that connects first) leaving the others in an unmanaged state.
WinMagic suggests that the best practice is to image without SecureDoc installed and perform individual SecureDoc installations after image deployment.
