Viewing and Updating Tickets in FootPrints
If you have contacted the ITS Help and Service Desk, it is likely that a ticket was created for you in FootPrints, the incident tracking system used by ITS. Updates to the ticket are communicated by email, but you can also access the tracking system directly to view the status of and provide additional information for your incidents with ITS.
To view and provide updates for your incidents with FootPrints:
Using your EID credentials, log in to FootPrints at https://help.its.utexas.edu/
If you have any open incidents, you will find them listed at the bottom of the Home page.
After locating the incident you are interested in, you can view or update as follows:
- To view details of the incident, click the incident summary.
- To provide updates to an incident, click the [more…] link and select Update or if you are already viewing the details of an incident, click the Edit button at the top of the page.
