Laptop Checkout Policy
All equipment is due within 24 hours of checkout.
A late fee of $20 per day will be charged if the equipment is not returned at the designated time. The late fee will accumulate up to the current value of a new machine, with equivalent specifications not to exceed $2,500.
If equipment is turned in late, a hold will be placed on your account with the university until the full amount is paid. Late fees are assessed upon return of the machine or after 72 hours, whichever comes first.
If you are late returning equipment three times, you will be barred from using the service in the future.
After returning a laptop there is a one hour waiting/processing period before another laptop can be checked out.
