Removing an ActiveSync Connection from iOS Devices

These instructions are for removing from an iPhone of iPad an ActiveSync connection to the Austin Exchange Messaging Service. Please note that this will delete your AEMS email and calendar items from your device.

  1. From the home screen, select Settings, then select Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
  2. Select the entry for the connection to your AEMS account.
  3. Click the "Delete Account" button.
  4. You will be prompted to acknowledge that deleting the account will remove its calendars ad reminders from your device. Click the "Delete Account" button.
