As part of the Web Central Services Retirement project, the ITS website will be retired. Information about IT services will be replaced by two new sites, IT@UT and UT ServiceNow, and ITS departmental information will be migrated to a new location. All changes will be completed by 7/28/2016.

Removing an ActiveSync Connection from Android Devices

These instructions are for removing an ActiveSync connection to the Austin Exchange Messaging Service from an Android device. Please note that this will delete your AEMS email and calendar items from your device. Android devices vary by version and vendor but generally follow this procedure:

  1. Go to the Email app
  2. Bring up the Menu and choose Accounts or Settings
  3. Select the account you want to remove
  4. Select Remove account
  5. Confirm that you want to remove the account when prompted
