Outlook 2007 (Windows): Adding/Removing Global Distribution List Members

If you have created a global distribution group, the distribution group owner can add and remove members. This must be done from inside the full Outlook client.

  1. In Outlook, select Tools from the file menu, then select Address Book.

  2. In the Address Book window, highlight the name of the distribution group to be modified, then select File, and then Properties.

  3. Select Modify Members.

  4. To remove members from the list, highlight the member's name and select Remove.

  5. To add users to the list, select the Add to bring up your address books.

  6. Select a user from the any of your address lists and select the Add button. Repeat this step for all the users you wish to add, and then select OK to add all selected users to your distribution list.

  7. Select the OK button to close the Distribution List Membership window and save your changes.
