Managing Multiple Outlook Mailboxes (Outlook 2007 / 2010)

  • Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows

  • Applications: Outlook 2007 / 2010

When you've set up more than one profile in Outlook, you can choose to use the same profile each time you run Outlook or you can have Outlook prompt you for a profile to use.

  1. Click the Start button, and then click Control Panel.

  2. Click the Mail icon.

Note: If you don't see a Mail icon, your control panel may be in category view. In that case, you should switch to classic view, or view by large or small icons. You should then see the Mail icon.

  3. Click Show Profiles.

  4. Choose one of the following:

    • To use the new profile automatically, select Always use this profile, then select the profile name from the drop-down list.

    • To choose between your profiles, select Prompt for a profile to be used. Each time you run Outlook, it will prompt you to select the profile you want to use.

  5. Click OK to exit.
