Creating Your Austin Exchange Mailbox
Log in to
ITS Computer Account Services.In the Windows Services section, click the Add Service button for Austin Exchange Mailbox.
Configure your account in the window that appears.
Your new AEMS account is created as soon as you sign up for it, and you should be able to use your account immediately.
Note: Even though you can use your AEMS account immediately, please note that it may take up to 24 hours for your name and contact information to show up in the Global Address Listing (GAL) available in your email client.
If you need a shared AEMS mailbox for your department or college, follow the directions for creating a departmentally-owned AEMS account.
