Where can I find my product key?: UT System Students and Faculty/Staff work-at-home
Students and faculty/staff work-at-home users are entitled to purchase one (1) copy of each available Microsoft title available to them; you may not be permitted to purchase replacement media should your initial copy be lost or destroyed.
Most products now require a unique 25-digit product key in order to install and/or activate the product. Because each CD requires a unique key, neither Microsoft nor ITS can offer you a replacement key.
If you lose either your key, or the actual installation media, you should contact your campus distribution point. Each school in The University of Texas System is responsible for establishing its own policy on providing services to customers who have lost their installation media or product keys.
