Purchasing Self-Managed MySQL Service With Commercial Support
In the self-managed infrastructure with commercial support, the customer purchases access to the campus-wide MySQL Enterprise Platinum support agreement. This allows the customer to interact directly with the MySQL support staff at MySQL AB for all support requests.

MySQL Enterprise Monitor (MEM) with Query Analyzer (QUAN). Customers may run their own MEM and QUAN server or they may utilize the MEM and QUAN server managed by the ITS Systems MySQL team.
MySQL 24x7 production support
30-minute response time for emergency requests
One-hour response time for non-emergency requests
Code review by MySQL support engineers
Advice and guidance offered by the ITS Systems MySQL team
Who should choose this?
Departments that have existing MySQL services that require commercial support or features of MySQL Enterprise.
Departments, colleges, or other groups that have existing staff that focus on MySQL administration.
Cost
The commercial support contract has two options:
$700 per server assessed annually
$2500 per department assessed annually covering an unlimited number of department owned MySQL servers

License Period
MySQL Enterprise licenses are leased for a 12 month period, November 15th through November 14th. License fees must be renewed annually. License fees are not pro-rated. You must renew the software license each year in order to continue access to MySQL Enterprise.
