Wireless and Wired Public Internet Access
Accessing Internet in the Residence Halls With Resnet
Resnet (Residential Dorm Network) subscribers have access to the Public Network wireless in the residence halls on campus at The University of Texas at Austin. Basic Tier I Resnet wireless access is included in your housing and food contract. Residents must subscribe to Resnet in order to use the wireless in the residence halls. In other parts of campus, they can access wireless without a Resnet subscription.
Where wireless service is available, non-resident visitors have access to the Public Network in the residence halls.
